A Letter for You
Hi Mama!
I’m Jen, worship pastor with Help Club for Moms, and I’m so excited about the word I’m sharing with you this month on IDENTITY. This is SO important for your mothering. How you see yourself affects everything about how you view your life, your situations, your circumstances, your kids and your husband.
Did you know the ONLY person who has the true power to define you is your Father in heaven? Let that powerful truth sink in! He is the only one with TRUE authority to determine who you are, and He does it through His word. In Psalm 45:10-11 He says, “Listen, O Daughter, consider and give ear: Forget your people and your father’s house. The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord.” The Father is inviting you to LISTEN this month to what HE says about you! It’s time to put off the old things you have allowed to define you and put on the truth of how HE sees you.
This month, take the song list I’ve included for you, pull out your Bible, and spend time asking the Father to show you, through His word, how He sees you. If you’re not sure where to start, Ephesians 1:1-14 is a powerful passage with many truths about who you are as a new creation in Christ. I also encourage you to look up the scriptures on our “Who I Am in Christ” printable here. Write out several that stand out to you, and put them up where you can see them every day. Let these truths sink in, and let them change the way you see yourself!
Remember mama, the way you see yourself changes EVERYTHING about how you do life! May your heart be encouraged this month in the truths of who you are.

Set aside at least one time this month to grab your Bible and journal, play the above songs and read the scriptures, and ask God,
“God, what have I allowed to define me that is not part of Your truth?”
“What is Your truth about me?”
“How can I partner with you this month to put off the old and put on the new- the truth of who I am in Christ?”
